What is SOC 2?

Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) is an internationally recognized standard for assessing an organization’s controls related to security, confidentiality, privacy, and data protection.  

SOC 2 evaluates whether a company’s systems and processes meet the rigorous standards necessary to protect sensitive information and ensure operational excellence.
