Easy Cancellation for Tyler Court eFiling Orders

Overview:

Rapid Legal has introduced a cancellation feature for court eFiling orders submitted with Tyler-integrated courts. This enhancement gives you greater control and flexibility in managing your pending orders. You can cancel orders that haven’t yet been opened by a court clerk for processing.

Key Benefits:

  • Eliminates the need for manual intervention or customer support involvement, saving you time.
  • You can act decisively and gain control when eFiling orders need to be withdrawn, reducing delays and avoiding court confusion.

Step 1.

Navigate to the Pending Orders section and find the relevant order.

Step 2.

Scroll to the right and find the Action column. If the order is eligible, you will see a red “X” in this column.

Note: If the order has already been opened by a clerk or if the court is not a Tyler-integrated court, the red “X” will not be available.

Step 3.

Click the red “X” and confirm your action in the prompt that appears.

What Happens When You Cancel

  • The order is cancelled with both the court and in the Rapid Legal portal.
  • A status update is automatically added to the order that confirms cancellation and includes the name of the user who cancelled the order.
